Avian and Feral species?

I'm not so sure if this topic already exists within the forum, but I'm just going to make a jump for it anyway:
Will there be any avian species? Avian = birds in the furry fandom.
It would've been kind of sad if there weren't any birds in the world of antilia. I'm an barn-owl as a furry, and I can guess there are other kinds of avian furries wanting at least one bird-like race in the game.
Also, will there be any chance of having "feral" species? I know that some species would require hands because of their lack of dexterity, but birds (as seen in the movie: "Legend of the Guardians") can actually have that dexterity by using their claws.
I know it would be a BIG REQUEST, but it could be a good idea.

Avian means birds in general, not just in the Furry Fandom.
Also, I already think there's going to be some form of "feral" species, though I think they're non-sentient NPCs.

Avians! YES! I found my dream thread!
Edit: On second thought, I'm sticking with the fox.

I think an avian race would be nice too. I also really like the bird claw hands of many avian furries. But, making wings work s arms/hands is good too. It may look a little wonky, but I've seen fursuits with such work nicely. The larger pinion feathers being the 'fingers'.

Having avian species would totally make this game for me. I would find birds to be quite interesting in a game like antilia; they could add a non-mammalian aspect to it. Perhaps with customizations for different beaks or facial masks, so players could replicate different species using a single model to make it easier on the creators. The only problem I see is how to use hands, but as previously stated I guess they could have clawlike archeopteryx hands or use their primary feathers (somehow.)

It will be interesting to see what, if any, additional species are introduced into this game.
The issue I see with an avian species would be flight. Would an avian species be able to fly or would it be like the penguin, ostrich, and emu and not able to fly? If an avian species were not able to fly (for simplicity) and yet modeled after a bird able to fly, there might be discontent. But if able to fly, an avian species would require a lot more work for balancing, etc.
I do think it is a cool idea to have one, but we'll have to see what Jeff has planned for this game.

They could model it "too human" thus making it physically unable to fly (weight and balance issues) and thus sate both ends.
Then again, haven't stopped furries before -.-''
