As a basic answer, generic medieval fantasy fair. Jeff has a post somewhere that talks a bit about the weaponry of Antilia but I cant seem to find it at the moment. But yeah, swords, bows, daggers, magical staffs, and primitive firearms. Though I think he said firearms would be rare and very expensive. Likely because of balance issues. Mind you that this game is still in the very early stages and all of this information is subject to change.

I guess the guns would be low accuracy, short range and long load time.

Well remember, main advantage of primitive firearms on was that they didn't need lots of training to make a soldier effective with it--good for peasant conscripts.

So maybe firearms are good early on, but with training, bows are superior? Guns also require a lot more maintenance if I recall correctly.

A few weeks back, Jeremii da'Ariiel and I were having an conversation on character stats when a very important brainstorm struck: the role and significance of the other seldom-mentioned races of Antilia - The Sakii (a reptilian, amphibian, and 'dragonesque' race) and Reisuii (the smaller, "rodent" mammalian race).
These two races had previously been a vague concept planned as expansion material - but after a literal typhoon of incredible ideas and storytelling/gameplay innovations - Antilia simply is not complete now until all three races are represented. (More information on, and illustrations of these new races are presently in the works.)
But back to the topic at hand - firearms are a Reisuii invention. While the Reisuii consider the bulky "hand cannons" they sell to the Taipii "primitive and fool proof'"... they are perfect as far as the Taipii are concerned: simple, reliable, and effective. Getting a hand on of one of these amazing contraptions will not be easy, however... or cheap.
Archer mentality: Keep your distance and deal precise, crippling damage to your target.
Hand-cannon mentality: Get in close and blast 'em.

Ah...I was talking more of things like arquebuses and muskets, rather than heavy hand cannon. In any case, I expect gunpowder weapons to be terrifying and loud. And of course a chance of backfiring.
Hmm. Has the slow match/matchlock been invented yet?

NO IT HAS NOT!
actualy i dont know.
But i do know designs of different hand cannons.
Like for instance, the first semi auto weapon: the stick hand cannon(basically three pistol-sized barrels, attached to a stick, fired by hitting the side to a wall. only one working one left in the world.)

Why not make a group of bloodlines, who can travel through time, and let them be like mercenaries, who sell and stuff.

I kind of imagine this world having a unique style to their weapons. Not whole new weapons in general, just sort of have a tribal theme that matches the race or breeds. Even if it's just runes or special carvings on the weapons.
