I started the download this evening and it got to the point it had 163 MB remaining to dnload and seemingly stopped. When I look in the upper right hand corner of the download screen I see the word 'disconnected' in red letters. Suggestions, advice, ideas? Anyone?

The connected/disconnected indicator is only with regard to the actual game server - not the file server (never really thought about it - but it would be confusing).
Also, if you interrupt your download, just re-launch the client. It'll resume downloading where it left off.

I recently just downloaded the client and in trying to update it's stopped 10 times and when I check the connection my wireless cant find my modem. I reset the modem and nothing. THen I reset my computer and i have connection again. This has happened 10 times in a row every time I try to update the client. It stops and I lose all connectivity to my wireless internet. I don't get it back unless I reset the computer. I've no idea what causes it. if it helps I can paste my DXdiag?

The game is not up right now, so any attempts to update would be quite futile.
